Bill Rebol and Darlene Harting formed their acoustic duo "Flashbaxx" in late 2014. They met by chance at a local open mic when Darlene was looking for guitar accompaniment for a few songs. For about a year they sang together pretty regularly for 15 minute open mic sets, before trying to go out on their own.

Bill brings to the table a varied and lengthy music background; having played guitar and harmonica for over four decades in both his church music ministry and a number of secular bands. He also hosts open mics for different local venues.

Darlene had no music background and didn't start singing in public until her 50's, but loves doing solos at church, karaoke, open mic, and "Flashbaxx" performances. She's been learning to play acoustic guitar since 2013. The local music scene has introduced Darlene and her husband Mike to so many new and interesting people.

Flashbaxx was nominated for best duo and their cover of "Like A Rolling Stone" was nominated for best cover song.

Bill was recently voted the Acoustic Guitarist of the year for the Local Taverns of Mentor, Willoughby Hills, and Parma.
